Middletown was founded in 2020 to respond to the increasing calls for schools & colleges to move beyond diversity and antiracism statements, by living out their values & making real changes to their curriculum, instruction, & campus & classroom culture.

Middletown and its partners are expert education professionals with decades of combined experience in strategic planning, needs assessment, leadership development, instructional coaching, diversity training, antiracist curriculum development, management, and more. Founder & CEO

Jackson is an experienced teacher, scholar, consultant, and coach. With nearly two decades of work in leadership development and a wide range of experience transforming curriculum and instruction in both K-12 and higher education, he serves as the founding CEO and principal consultant at Middletown.
